This is an excellent opportunity to engage students with historical events, debates, and perspectives across Key Stages 3 and 4. Job Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver compelling lessons covering a broad range of historical periods and themes. • Encourage critical analysis, discussion, and enquiry among pupils. • Assess and monitor student progress and provide effective feedback. • Foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to department initiatives and extracurricular activities. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in History or Humanities. • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching history. • Excellent classroom management and communication skills. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
