Job Overview
Humly North East are seeking a dedicated and experienced Work Experience Coordinator to oversee the operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for teaching, enabling them to effectively guide and develop their team. This role is crucial in ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high-quality standards.
There are two roles available within the college, one in the Construction Academy and one in Electrical, Plumbing, Painting and Decorating.
Work Experience Coordinator – Construction / Electrical, Plumbing & Painting & Decorating.
Key focus of the role:
* Source and maintain relationships with employers in the relevant trade area.
* Match students to suitable placements and ensure all health & safety and safeguarding checks are complete.
* Support students before, during and after placements.
* Work closely with curriculum staff to embed work experience into study programmes.
* Keep accurate records and monitor placement progress.
What to look for in candidates:
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to engage with employers and build partnerships.
* Experience in education, training, or employer liaison is desirable.
* Knowledge of construction / trades sectors is a plus but not essential.
