Pay: Starting from £140 per day
Milk Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gateshead to appoint a Primary School Teacher to join their dedicated team after the Easter break.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their practice within a supportive and nurturing school environment, with potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities.

The Role: Primary School Teacher
As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the primary UK curriculum
* Plan and prepare lessons where required
* Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
* Assess and monitor pupil progress
Classroom Environment & Pupil Development
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
* Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Build strong relationships with pupils to support engagement and achievement
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development
Collaboration & Professional Practice
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
* Contribute to planning and school activities
* Engage with ongoing professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching within a Primary School setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* ECTs are encouraged to apply
