Health & Safety Officer - Summary of core responsibilities:
Drive the development and implementation of EHS training and development – focussing on continuously improving the knowledge and know-how of all co-workers: implementation of the “Take Action, Take Care” philosophy.
Support the EHS Manager on reviewing all investments and machinery with the support of Project, Maintenance and Operations Managers.
Establish and build strong relationships with production floor, Safety and Union Representatives across the business to ensure a proactive Safety Culture within the business.
Support the EHS Manager in the delivery of the Strategic Safety Plan.
Support the EHS Manager in the implementation of the EHS systems and processes into the site Integrated Management System; You will need to be NEBOSH Qualified and have a good knowledge of internal audits, risk assessments and safety process.
