We are currently working in partnership with a Social Housing provider in Bristol, who are looking to appoint a Planned Works Surveyor on a 12 Month FTC.
This will be a full-time position based in Bristol, with travel expected across the region. The annual salary for the role is £42,500 + a car allowance.
The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out planned works surveys, managing contractors, and undertaking post inspections.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Delivering planned and cyclical home investment works in line with service delivery targets, KPIs, and approved budgets.
Managing contracts for home investment programmes, including planned maintenance, cyclical works, and major repairs
Leading the delivery of major works projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and value for money
Undertaking asset and condition surveys to inform investment planning and programme development
Preparing detailed specifications, drawings, and contract documentation to support home investment programmes
Supporting procurement activities, including tender evaluation, contract award, and mobilisation, in line with procurement strategy and best practice
Monitoring contractor performance to ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, on programme, and within budget
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience dealing with tenders, and procurement
Experience delivering planned works
Experience overseeing contractors
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
