This is a permanent position offering a fantastic opportunity to manage all cost and contractual aspects of various water projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and relevant information. Develop detailed project budgets, including materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs. Monitor project costs throughout the process and identify areas for cost optimisation. Manage the tendering process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts. Source materials and services from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitiveness and adherence to project requirements. Administer contracts, preparing contract documents, variations, and claims to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. Track project expenditure and prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders. Identify and assess project risks, including cost overruns and delays, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
