Location: Wales based
Salary: £30k - £31k dependent on skills and experience. Qualified assessor start (potential earnings up to £34k) plus Welsh uplift £1,000 offered on a case by case basis.
Working hours: Monday to Friday Full Time Permanent
Benefits: 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, 2 week shut down at Christmas, birthday off, healthcare, pension, induction support, 45p per mile, overnight hotel expenses/travel paid during initial induction, progression opportunities, performance bonus, salary rise after completion of assessor/teaching qualifications plus much more.
Remote work: Based from home anywhere in Wales (Travel to learners within 50 miles radius – flexible on occasions). Learners will have a face-to-face visit every 9 weeks. 45p mileage paid.

Role summary: The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating the performance, skills and potential of learners, providing detailed feedback and helping them achieve their goals of growth and success.
Qualifications: Successful applicants will have experience working within a leadership and/or managerial and Project Management role. While qualifications in assessment practice are not essential, a willingness to work towards achieving these on appointment is required.
Travel: The position is home (field) based; travel is expected to visit learners in the workplace. The ability to travel is essential. Caseload areas will be allocated based on geolocation; typically within 50-mile radius but may be exceeded. It is expected the successful applicant should be based anywhere in Wales.
Your role and responsibilities
* Deliver Level 5 Apprenticeships in Leadership and Management with some potential Project Management qualifications
* Support learners to progress through the learning journey through effective assessment planning, feedback and regular learner interaction
* Provide constructive feedback to learners on an ongoing basis to ensure learners progress through their programme in a timely manner and ensure clarity and understanding for all parties
* Communicate progress and achievement of learner to the mentor and/or employer consistently throughout the programme
* Quality Assurance tasks (details unspecified)
