Overview
Summerhill Vet Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join their busy team at their Dr Doolittle's branch in Whitchurch. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who has a positive can-do attitude and enjoys working as part of a team who value and support each other whilst ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Our focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team.
Responsibilities
* Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
* Your great client service during a client’s visit will ensure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
* You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently.
* Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.
About the practice
We are a busy small animal practice seeing a large diverse caseload. We have top-of-the-range facilities including an ultrasound machine, endoscope, dental radiography and Idexx in-house lab equipment. Our team consists of 6 vets with a mix of full and part-time, working alongside our large nursing team.

* You can deal with everything that is thrown at you, from comforting a client who has had some bad news about their pet or sharing in the joy of a new puppy’s first visit to the vet.

Shift pattern
You will work 39 hours per week, working between 8 am - 7 pm Monday - Friday on a rota basis, with no OOH or weekends.
