2️⃣ Specialist Teaching Assistant – Autism Support (Leeds LS10)
£90–£105/day | Full-Time | Long-Term
We are looking for a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to work within an inclusive autism provision in South Leeds.
Role Overview:
* Support pupils with ASC, ADHD, and communication needs.
* Use visual aids, PECS, and Makaton to promote understanding.
* Provide 1:1 and small group interventions.
* Collaborate with therapy teams and class teachers to personalise support.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience with autism (in schools or care).
* Training in Makaton, PECS, or communication support preferred.
* Child & Adult DBS on Update Service.
* Positive, calm, and proactive approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
