Senior Practice Accountant/ Client Manager| Warrington | Full Time - 9 am - 5 pm (37.5 Hours) - Office Based | £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
Our client has years of experience working with local SMEs in Warrington and beyond, providing expert advice to help grow businesses, minimise the tax bill and maximise their wealth.
They are currently seeking an ambitious, hands-on accountant to help oversee the day-to-day client base whilst the Director transitions into a more strategic, business-focused role. To succeed, you will need to adopt the company's mission to become the Trusted Adviser to Clients and show a real passion for supporting their success.
Are you the right person for the job?
* ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally with several years of post-qualification experience
* CTA qualification would be advantageous
* Proven experience working with SME/OMB clients
* Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients
* Supervisory or management experience with a small team
* Strong technical knowledge with attention to detail, particularly in line with FRS 102
* A proactive, client-first mindset with a "can-do" attitude
* Professional, supportive, and approachable in dealings with both clients and colleagues
What will your role look like?
This role will include:
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements for both individual entities and group companies
* Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the development of junior team members
* Preparing and reviewing both corporate and personal tax returns
* Meeting with clients to discuss financial accounts and tax-related matters
* Maintain a strong commercial focus by understanding client business needs and delivering tailored, value-driven advice and solutions
