Billing Coordinator
Our client, a leading and expanding property business, is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join their team based in the centre of Reading.
Location: Reading Town Centre (opposite Reading Train Station)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based upon experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Register void properties with local councils and utility providers.
* Notify relevant parties of changes in tenancy status.
* Validate and reconcile bills for council tax, gas, electricity, and water.
* Track and process invoices and payments for all utilities and council tax.
* Support the management of estate and service charge payments.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare regular cost and billing reports.
* Escalate any discrepancies, delays, or issues to the Head of Property Management.
About You
* Experience in property management, utilities, or finance administration.
* Strong understanding of council tax and utility billing processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Confident communicator with a proactive and positive approach.
* Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
