Commercial and Pricing Analyst (Restaurants)
Location: Dunstable, hybrid working, minimum 3 days per week in the office.

As a Commercial Analyst for our restaurant business, you will work within our wider restaurants product and brand team to shape our future food strategy across our 1,200 hotels and branded restaurants. This is part of our growth programme to expand our Food and Beverage business.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will collaborate with teams in commercial, finance, marketing, and product development to provide detailed analysis, trend data, and performance tracking. Your insights will support effective decision-making to ensure our products meet customer expectations and market demands.

What you’ll do
* Implement and evolve our food pricing strategy, providing insights into Whitbread’s pricing position and range recommendations across hotels and restaurants.
* Monitor industry trends and innovations within the F&B sector to inform strategy.
* Implement, measure, and optimize pricing strategies to achieve market position and sales targets while offering value to guests.
* Track campaign and promotion success, providing recommendations, monitoring risks, and measuring KPIs.
* Provide insights into menu and range decisions to meet KPIs and objectives.
* Analyze MI data, market, and guest insights to identify opportunities for pricing strategies that maximize performance and profitability, fostering growth.
What we need
* Experience in a similar analyst role within F&B or retail, with strong knowledge of industry trends or merchandising, pricing, and range planning.
* Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, capable of interpreting multiple data sources and making informed recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage workload amid changing priorities.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of challenging assumptions with objective recommendations.
