At Lagans Foundation, we're not your typical care provider. We work differently because children need different things. As a Childrens Play and Healthcare Worker, you'll join our vibrant internal care team, supporting children and young people aged 0-19 with various health and developmental needs, in their homes and communities.
You'll be there to play, engage, and care, not just provide personal support. We visit families' homes for a minimum of two hours per visit, during which we focus on creating joy, promoting development, and building lasting memories for children who may have limited time.
This role isn't about ticking care plans; it's about creating moments that matter. Responsibilities include:
* Using play to connect, support learning, development, and emotional wellbeing
* Actively contributing to meaningful, fun, and safe experiences
* Providing high-quality care alongside play, including personal care where needed
* Building trusted relationships with families and colleagues
* Thinking on your feet and adapting to each child's unique needs
* Attending regular team meetings, training, and supervision
* Keeping up-to-date records and ensuring excellent communication within the team
* Participating in team bonding, training, and mentoring new team members
* Being an ambassador of Lagans Foundation, embodying our values

Eligibility Criteria:
