Job Title: QA SupervisorLocation: TiptonSalary: £46,800Industry: FMCG Food ManufacturingJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeShift: Night Shift 6pm-6am (Monday-Thursday)Hours: 48 Hours Per WeekQA Supervisor Benefits:Competitive salary packageCompany pension schemeFree onsite parkingTraining and development opportunitiesGenuine opportunity for career progressionSupportive and collaborative working environmentKey QA Supervisor Responsibilities:Supervise the Quality Assurance department on night shift to ensure safe, legal and high-quality products are consistently manufacturedEnsure compliance with all food safety, legality and quality standards across site operationsAudit, maintain and challenge HACCP systems and prerequisite programmesCarry out internal audits including GMP, hygiene, glass & plastic and quality management systemsSupport and prepare for customer, retailer and third-party audits including BRCGS and IFS standardsManage non-conformances, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actionsEnsure compliance with raw material and finished product specificationsManage allergen cleaning verification and hygiene performance standardsSupport analytical sampling, product testing and sensory evaluationsTroubleshoot and verify metal detection systems, calibrations and fail safesInvestigate customer complaints and implement preventative actionsProvide technical support, coaching and guidance to production and operations teamsEnsure all compliance checks are completed accurately and on timeProactively drive continuous improvement across quality systems, processes and site standardsMaintain accurate technical reports, records and quality documentationIdentify QA team training needs and support development opportunitiesEnsure Health & Safety compliance across the departmentRequired QA Supervisor Experience:Essential Experience:Previous experience within a QA or Technical role in Food ManufacturingExperience supervising or leading teams within a food manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety and quality systemsExperience supporting customer, retailer and third-party auditsKnowledge of corrective actions, root cause analysis and non-conformance managementStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectivelyGood communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the businessDesirable Qualifications & Experience:HACCP and/or Food Safety qualificationsExperience with BRCGS and IFS auditsExperience working with retailer standards and compliance requirementsKnowledge of allergen management, hygiene verification and product surveillance systemsExperience training or coaching production teams on food safety and quality standardsTPBN1_UKTJ
