As a Brand Strategist in the Demand Campaigns team (Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover) at Rise at Seven, you’ll be the strategic engine powering our boldest ideas. You’ll own the day-to-day strategic thinking on key accounts, where research, data, and creativity collide to shape campaigns that don’t just land, but demand attention. This role is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, offering the opportunity to step into a fast-moving team and lead strategic thinking across high-profile demand campaign accounts. Reporting into the Head of Brand, you’ll take brand challenges and translate them into sharp positioning, clear audience insights, and actionable campaign plans. You’ll partner closely with strategy, social, PR, and influencer teams, ensuring that every idea is rooted in strategy and built to deliver measurable impact. You’ll act as the trusted strategic partner for clients, bringing clarity, structure, and fresh thinking to their toughest marketing challenges. Internally, you’ll set the pace for strategic excellence, collaborating with juniors, specialists, and creatives to ensure our work drives performance while pushing cultural and creative boundaries. This is a hybrid brand strategy and creative content marketing role. You’ll shape strategy through positioning and audience insight but also turn it into campaigns and content — leading, planning, concepting, managing, and producing work that brings ideas to life. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of insight and imagination, with a proven ability to turn data into stories, and stories into strategies that move audiences and shift brands. KEY OBJECTIVES Lead day-to-day strategic direction across demand campaign accounts, ensuring work ladders up to client business objectives and brand positioning. Develop and deliver brand positioning frameworks, audience insights, and campaign strategies that drive measurable performance and cultural relevance. Act as the bridge between research, data, and creativity — ensuring insights are translated into clear, actionable briefs for creative and social teams. Maintain client satisfaction scores of 8, acting as a trusted partner and strategic advisor. Deliver at least one significant strategic pivot or campaign evolution per quarter, based on insights and performance data. Collaborate across departments (social, creative, PR, influencer, SEO) to build fully integrated campaign strategies. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership Lead daily/weekly strategy touchpoints across demand campaigns. Translate business challenges into sharp, actionable campaign strategies. Ensure creative briefs are insight-led, audience-focused, and culturally relevant. Client Partnership Act as the strategic voice in client meetings and presentations. Build strong day-to-day relationships with client stakeholders. Manage approvals, feedback, and reporting for strategy-led deliverables. Insight & Planning Conduct brand, competitor, and audience analysis to shape campaign thinking. Translate research and data into insights and frameworks that fuel creativity. Develop campaign narratives, positioning statements, and customer journeys. Creative Collaboration Partner with creative, social, and influencer teams to ensure ideas are on-strategy. Provide strategic guidance throughout campaign development and execution. Review concepts and outputs to ensure alignment with brand positioning. Measurement & Growth Track campaign performance against brand and demand KPIs. Analyse results and surface insights to refine future strategy. Identify upsell opportunities and work with commercial leads to drive growth. ABOUT YOU You’re a strategic thinker with a creative edge — someone who can turn audience insights and cultural trends into campaign strategies that make brands impossible to ignore. You’re comfortable owning the strategic vision day-to-day, but equally confident rolling up your sleeves to dig into research, data, or positioning decks. You’re naturally collaborative, able to bring structure and clarity to complex challenges while working fluidly with creatives, social teams, and clients. You have a sharp understanding of brand positioning, audience behaviour, and campaign planning, and you know how to connect all three to drive results. 4–6 years’ experience in brand strategy, comms planning, or integrated marketing strategy (agency experience preferred). Strong experience in brand positioning, insight development, and campaign planning. Proven ability to bridge data and creativity — turning numbers into narratives that unlock big ideas. Confident client communicator and presenter, with experience building trusted relationships. Comfortable working in fast-paced, integrated environments where strategy drives both performance and creativity. REPORTING TO Head of Brand Campaigns CONTRACT DETAILS This role is offered as a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with an expected duration of approximately 12 months (exact length to be confirmed). There may be potential for extension depending on business needs.
