Senior Business Analyst Contract: 12 Months

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a fast-paced, purpose-driven programme delivering impactful digital services. This role sits within a multidisciplinary team focused on designing and scaling user-centred services that meet complex business and user needs. This is a high-impact position requiring strong analytical capability, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work in an evolving environment where pace and adaptability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct detailed analysis across people, processes, data, technology, and organisational structures
* Identify opportunities for service and business improvements and define measurable outcomes
* Elicit, analyse, and document business and user requirements to support design, development, and testing
* Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver user-centred solutions
* Assess the impact of business and policy constraints on proposed solutions
* Define success metrics and support continuous improvement through iterative delivery approaches
* Ensure solutions align with organisational strategy, objectives, and user needs
* Support the development of operating models and organisational capability
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst in a digital environment
* Strong experience working within Agile or similar delivery frameworks
* Ability to translate business drivers, goals, and constraints into clear requirements and outcomes
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including managing conflicting priorities
* Experience identifying issues and driving them through to resolution
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
* Ability to assess business and policy constraints and understand their implications
* Knowledge of Agile tools and techniques and supporting their adoption within teams
Desirable Experience
* Experience contributing to or leading Communities of Practice
* Experience mentoring or supporting the development of Business Analysts
* Background working on complex transformation or service delivery programmes
