Job Title: Banking & Finance Paralegal
Location: Bournemouth
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banking & Finance Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid background in banking and finance law to work alongside senior solicitors on a wide range of complex financial transactions and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general support and manage Practice Evolve filings to assist the team with administrative tasks.
* Handle Companies House Registrations.
* Assist with the preparation and drafting of legal documents such as loan agreements, security documents, and other transactional documents.
* Support lawyers on key projects and tasks.
* Draft, proofread, and amend legal agreements, advice notes, letters, and other documents.
* Conduct legal research and due diligence to support banking transactions, including loan agreements, corporate finance, and real estate finance.
* Manage and organize client files, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed.
* Assist with transactional closing processes from initial filing to completion.
Requirements
* At least 1 year of experience as a Paralegal in a banking and finance legal environment, preferably within a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
* Strong understanding of English banking and finance law, including LMA (Loan Market Association) standards.
* Experience supporting complex bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Law degree or equivalent legal qualification preferred.
* LPC/SQE or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
