Role: KS2 Supply Teacher (Year 5)
Rate of Pay: £ – £ per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role
Charlotte at Connex Education is seeking a committed and experienced KS2 Supply Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Oldbury area of Sandwell.
This is a long-term supply position for the remainder of the academic year, teaching a Year 5 class. The class includes pupils with additional needs, so experience supporting children with SEND within a mainstream setting is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will:
1. Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
2. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
3. Effectively manage behaviour using consistent and supportive strategies
4. Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs
5. Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff and leadership team
6. Monitor, assess and track pupil progress

Role Requirements
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
13. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable)
14. Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
15. Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a mainstream classroom
16. Excellent behaviour management skills
17. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
18. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
