We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to work in our diverse and friendly team. As a Senior Income Officer, you'll help collect rent to sustain tenancies, ensuring that residents have access to the support that they might need whilst we navigate the cost of living crisis.
This is a varied role and we will ensure that you have all the training you could need. We are really proud of our service and would love to continue to grow with your help!
Your role
You will oversee your own patch by taking a proactive, innovative approach to recovering and preventing rent arrears. You'll decisively elevate and manage cases that require further action and engage with residents to negotiate arrangements and provide advice to those that need it.
This role is very flexible and no two days are the same!
A typical week will see you working at home, in the office and out and about on your 'patch', visiting residents at their properties. You'll be dynamic in delivering our vision for a high-quality service for residents.

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.
For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
