Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forman to oversee our team and ensure the smooth operation of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction processes. As a Forman, you will be responsible for supervising daily activities, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
* Supervise and manage a team of workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Coordinate daily operations, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to project specifications.
* Provide training and support to team members as needed to enhance their skills and performance.
* Maintain clear communication with project managers and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that arise.
* Manage materials and equipment on-site, ensuring they are used effectively and safely.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry or related field.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
