Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Family Law department, ensuring high standards of legal service delivery
* Oversee a varied caseload of family matters, with a focus on children law (both public and private)
* Supervise and mentor junior solicitors, trainees, and support staff
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
* Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the department
* Maintain and build strong client relationships, delivering excellent client care
* Manage performance, billing, and departmental targets
About you
* Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years PQE in Family Law
* Children Panel Accreditation (essential)
* Strong experience handling complex children matters
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a legal setting
* Excellent communication, organisational, and decision‑making skills
* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
