Location: Chipping Warden / Banbury The Role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Section Engineer to join a major infrastructure project delivering utility diversions as part of a nationally significant scheme based in Chipping Warden.The role has a strong emphasis on quality assurance and technical compliance, with responsibility for overseeing a small engineering team and ensuring all technical documentation, inspections and records are accurate, complete and compliant with project standards.

Key Responsibilities Take day-to-day responsibility for section-level delivery of utility diversion works Manage, mentor and oversee two Site Engineers, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme Lead on quality management, including: ITPs, check sheets and QA records As-built records and handover documentation Ensuring works comply with specifications, drawings and permits Coordinate engineering activities with site management, designers and subcontractors Review drawings, resolve technical queries and support construction methodologies Carry out setting out as required using GPS / EDM equipment Ensure works are delivered in line with health, safety, environmental and quality standards About You Proven experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on civil utility projects Strong background in quality assurance and technical documentation Experience working on utility diversions and/or major infrastructure schemes Confident managing junior engineers and coordinating engineering activities Competent in setting out and engineering control Good working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and QA processes CSCS What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
