Our client is a global provider of scientific solutions, helping laboratories around the world enable advancements in many areas such as pharmaceutical, food, environmental and healthcare. They are currently looking for an experienced engineer to uphold a senior Engineering position at their site in the Southeast. In this role you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining laboratory automation systems from a range of vendors, ensuring prompt, flexible and customer focused support. You will support scientific staff in preparing SOPs, manuals and user guides for the automation system and train them on basic maintenance and operation. To be considered for this role, you will have: * Qualification in Engineering (BSc, HND) or closely related * Previous experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding on laboratory instrumentation * Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service engineer looking to secure a site-based position and continue working in a challenging and fulfilling role.
