Join to apply for the SEN Primary Teacher role at TieTalent. Our new Options Autism School – Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire, will cater for pupils who have ASC and Complex Needs. Start: September 2025 or January 2026. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum. Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 4.15pm. Contract: Permanent, Term Time only.
Due to service growth, we’re recruiting an SEN Primary Teacher for our new Options Autism School – Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire.
About the School: Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties for over 16 years. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading the sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes. The group was recognised as a Great Place to Work in 2024 for the fifth year running.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality education to individual students or small groups in line with the School’s Curriculum framework, Company policies, and regulatory standards.
* Monitor, record, and report on student progress regularly.
* Support and contribute to the implementation of the School Development Plan.
* Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students in line with Company policies.
* Develop and implement personalized learning environments and programs to ensure student progression at an appropriate pace.
* Coordinate teaching, assessment, recording, and reporting of subjects and learning areas across key stages as directed by the Headteacher.
* Devise, implement, and review IEPs, behaviour plans, and other relevant plans with staff.
* Organize the classroom environment, resources, groupings, and displays to create a stimulating and supportive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications
* UK QTS or equivalent
* Experience with SEN children (desirable)
