Job Summary

Calling Registered Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses. Are you passionate about mental health and learning disability care and ready for a new challenge? We are working differently and innovatively to optimise holistic and patient centred care. If you have a particular interest in mental health and want to develop your mental health skills then this role provides an exciting opportunity for you. TEWV is developing a forward thinking nursing vision and robust defined career pathways. As an RMN you may be responsible for the day to day running of the ward.

This post is only open to those candidates who already have their NMC registration in place and have successfully completed the preceptorship programme.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under any visa, as it is a Bank/zero hours contract and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.

Main duties of the job

As a Staff Nurse on our inpatient units, you will be encouraged to become involved in the large multi-disciplinary team approach striving towards excellent patient care. You will be involved in formulation to discharge planning for patients on the ward as part of our dynamic team.

Each inpatient ward is fully equipped with activity and therapeutic spaces to enable patients to recover in a timely way so that they can be safely discharged back into their community with identified support packages.

About Us

The Trust is a strongly value based, person-centred organisation which has taken a strategic approach to continued service improvement, the modernisation of clinical roles and the introduction of care pathways embedded within a functioning system of governance.

The most important way we will get there is by living our values all of the time. These are:

* Respect - listening, inclusive, working in partnership
* Compassion - kind, supporting, recognising and celebrating
* Responsibility - honest, learning, ambitious

As a bank Nurse you will be able to pick up shifts as and when and be made to feel a welcome member of our team.
