At Laneway & Co we looking a FULL TIME Barista / Cafe All-rounder to join our team.
You must be available and able to work weekends for this position.
Laneway is regarded as producing some of the highest quality and most consistent coffee available in Newcastle, and we need passionate baristas who will be able to uphold this reputation.
An enthusiasm about speciality coffee, working with high quality coffee and equipment is a must and we will look out for applicants with knowledge of what we do and who we are.
To apply you must:
* Have at least 1 year of experience in a busy cafe environment
* Have experience with dialling in grinders and espresso machines to specific brew ratios
* Have the ability to produce consistent high quality latte art
* Ability to work well under pressure and quality control your work
Progression into a shift leader is available. Where you will be managing tasks whilst on shift in absence of the General Manager, this would be a great first step for someone into hospitality management and would open the door to becoming a GM.
