Device Associate III, Hardware Compute Group
A Device Associate’s primary responsibility is to execute test case instructions, report discrepancies, analyze automated regressions, and track daily execution status using recommended tools and techniques. The DA is also responsible for the successful and on-time delivery of results.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Execute test cases prepared for testing software builds.
2. Perform test case execution and report bugs accurately.
3. Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds/releases.
4. Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising quality.
5. Use software tools like dashboards for data capture daily.
6. Capture results, communicate and escalate failures, and provide individual status reports.
7. Raise failures/doubts related to test case execution in the clarification portal and close them as per SLAs.
8. Maintain lab and test farm.
Basic Qualifications
* B.E., B.Sc., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc., IT, ECE, Electrical/Electronic Engineering graduates.
* Any graduate with a preference for science and engineering fields.
* Familiarity with Linux environment.
* Flexibility and interest in repetitive tasks.
* High energy, proactive nature, ownership, and drive to meet daily deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge or experience in embedded or multimedia testing.
