An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Sales to become part of the M&T commercial leadership team. As Head of Sales you will: Assist the Sales Director (UK) in evolving, managing, and enhancing M&T's Sales discipline and culture. Elevate the Sales function for M&T's Managed Hotels to industry-leading standards. Drive core sales strategies across all Managed Hotels, continuously improving revenue and market share. Own and optimize Corporate Business performance (local, national, global) for all Managed Hotels. Proactively pursue new sales initiatives and contracts to maximize top and bottom-line performance. Represent M&T Managed Hotels top-line performance to key stakeholders, owners, and banks. Support the Sales Director and senior stakeholders in pursuing new business aligned with targeted goals. However, it must be noted that there will be very frequent requirements to travel to our managed hotels situated throughout the UK including overnight stays where needed. Applicants can be based anywhere in the UK if they are comfortable with the distances involved, are able to drive and have the use of a suitable vehicle (a car allowance and business miles are paid). Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: At least 3 years experience in a senior/ multi-site sales role with a history of achieving targets and driving growth. Previous Sales Management experience Ability to work of various different projects simultaneously Ideally multiple property experience with 3 or more hotels Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate others, and drive results in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders. Deep understanding of the industry, market trends and competitive landscape. Proficiency in using sales software, relevant tools and technologies. Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable deals with customers, partners, and vendors. Ability to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome them, adapting to changing circumstances and market dynamics. Proven history of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through effective sales strategies and initiatives.
