An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disabilities Nurse with experience in a leadership role to join the Night SCN team.
The Night SCN’s are based in Lochhead within Royal Cornhill Hospital. The successful applicant will have professional and operational responsibility to assist the wards when necessary, offer advice and support nursing staff, attend clinical and nursing emergencies, deploy relief pool nursing staff, complete and send out the Situation Report in the morning.
We are looking for an individual who will enjoy the challenge that the role offers whilst demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to improving patient experience and outcomes, staff wellbeing and building a culture of nursing excellence.
This is a senior nursing role and successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a high level of leadership and communication skills. They will lead by example to ensure the safe running of the hospital at night for patients to receive high quality care.
The post holder will possess a working knowledge of clinical standards and policy & procedures for people management.
Previous relevant Site Bleep Holder or Night SCN experience is desirable for the role.
This post operates a flexible shift pattern which is essential to the safe delivery of the service.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
