Woking and Sam Beare Hospice In Patient Unit is looking for a passionate, dynamic, and enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our incredible team.
About Us
At the hospice, we pride ourselves on providing high standards of care to patients and their families during some of their most challenging times. Our services include care in the Inpatient Unit (IPU), patients' own homes, and the Wellbeing Centre. We specialise in palliative and end-of-life care for patients with complex, life-limiting illnesses in the North-West Surrey area.

Role Overview
A successful Palliative Care Staff Nurse Band 5 will:
* Be a key member of the multidisciplinary team
* Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Utilize advanced nursing skills and knowledge
* Possess or be willing to obtain palliative care qualifications
* Be compassionate, capable of planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized evidence-based nursing care
* Lead, motivate, and support junior team members
* Support complex patients with medical, social, and psychological needs
* Contribute to ward development and continuous improvement of care practices
Candidate Requirements
* Current NMC Registration
* RN qualification to Diploma or Degree level
* Recent professional development evidence
* Palliative care qualification (or willingness to complete)
* Mentorship qualification (or willingness to complete)
* UK Registration
* Disclosure and Barring Service Check
