We’re partnering with a specialist, non-audit advisory business founded by ex-Big 4 professionals, now operating across the US and UK, to appoint an experienced International Tax Director. The firm provides a broad range of consulting services to listed and privately held businesses, without the constraints of audit independence. Their culture encourages innovation, collaboration across service lines, and supports a team of ambitious professionals with strong technical foundations.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of cross-border structuring, transaction planning, and international tax advisory for a diverse client base. You'll be instrumental in shaping both client strategy and the development of the internal tax team.
What you’ll do:
* Lead complex international tax advisory projects including structuring, expansion, and due diligence
* Advise clients on permanent establishment, repatriation strategies, and withholding tax issues
* Collaborate with other disciplines on global transfer pricing and cross-border transactions
* Support business growth through client development and thought leadership
* Mentor and develop junior staff across international tax engagements
Your background:
* Director or equivalent within a professional services firm
* ACA / CTA (or equivalent) with 10+ years of international tax experience
* Strong technical grounding across UK and global tax regimes
* Confident managing senior client relationships and complex tax projects
* Comfortable working across borders, time zones, and service lines
