Our prestigious client, Johnnie Walker Princes Street, is currently looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for processing deliveries/ transfers, sending shipments (UK/ International paperwork), maintaining inventories and updating records. As well as assisting customer enquiries over the phone/ email. Also, supporting the store team with customer requests and item personalisation (engraving).

Pay rate of £12.60 per hour
Your Time at Work
This role will be a key contributor to store performance and the team dynamic; it requires a methodical approach to organising product, a keen eye for detail and great care when handling stock and answering customer enquiries.
Top Accountabilities:
- Responsible for knowing, following and administering all company policies and procedures.
- Assist in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocol/policies and all shipping/ receiving related paperwork.
- To investigate any stock errors or discrepancies - escalating concerns where necessary to the Management Team.
- Maintaining and building on inter departmental communication to ensure excellent staff experience and customer service.
- Maintain and organize the stockroom, according to excellent operational standards.
- Create tools to maximize space in stockroom and make merchandise easily accessible for stock and sales staff.
- Ensure stock handling areas are kept clean and orderly, adhering to Health & Safety, Fire and Emergency procedures always.
- Work closely with Management, colleagues and Visual Merchandising Manager.
- Successfully prepare for and support company driven promotions and launches to meet and exceed sales targets and deliver the best experience possible for customers.
- Assist with local events ensuring a successful execution as directed by the Store Manager.
- Keep track of inventory levels for Retail Consumables and PPE.
- Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organised and stocked.
- Pack up defective items or overstock and arranges for the return shipment according to Head Office guidelines.
- Assist managers and associates in preventing theft and maintaining proper inventory.
- Facilitate loss prevention initiatives that reduces shrinkage Attend store meetings.
- Manage all relevant training and development sessions, programs and meetings as directed by store management.
- Support servicing customers in the shop floor when needed.
- Check pre-orders that will be collected as well as any personalisation requests to ensure that orders are ready for customer collections on time.
Customer Service:
- Provide the highest level of customer service in person, over the phone, through email...
- Answer customer and sales associate questions about available items in stock.
- Retrieve items from stockroom at customer request.
- Accommodate special requests for customers.
- Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Process customer orders.
- Keep on top of customer shipments, following up on tracking details and ensure quick and smooth deliveries to customers. Answering customer queries quickly and efficiently.

Part-time basis - 16 hours
This role will involve some early morning starts and weekend work.
Flexible starting time - between 07:00 am and finishing time by 10:30 pm (Flexibility is required).
