What's the role about?
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth within the confectionery Out-of-Home (OOH) sector in the designated territory, including Newcastle, Durham, Northumberland, Cumbria, and surrounding areas. The role involves building relationships with clients, increasing sales, and expanding distribution channels to support the company's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop the territory through proactive business development and client relationship management.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the OOH sector.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
* Travel within the territory to meet clients and prospects.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in sales, particularly within the OOH or Foodservice channels.
* Strong relationship-building skills with decision-makers.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
* Full, manual UK or international driving license for at least 1 year.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 per annum (£32-36k OTE) + up to 20% bonus + company car.
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
