Adult Social Care in Cornwall is changing. We’re looking for innovators to join us in developing a ‘best-in-class’ Adult Social Care model.
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the team in undertaking strength-based assessments for people living in the community with long term physical health issues.
Are you passionate about promoting peoples independence and reablement opportunities? Do you ‘live’ the ‘person-centred approach’ and put people’s views and wishes at the heart of every decision you make? Are you also resilient, determined and trustworthy, seeking out feedback and challenges? Do you promote self-learning and keep your knowledge and skills up to date, in order to work to Adult Social Care practice standards? Do you enjoy sharing your information and expertise so that you can help others in your team grow and achieve their goals?
As part of your role you’ll focus on preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support; providing advice, information, rehabilitation, equipment and adaptation to promote wellbeing and independence. Your key role will be to ensure that residents, families and communities have the right support in place at the right time.
