Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in either our Newcastle or Winnersh office. Key Responsibilities As a Marketing Data Scientist, you will: • Build and deploy predictive models to improve campaign targeting, lead scoring, customer segmentation, and churn mitigation strategies. • Apply advanced statistical and mathematical techniques to enhance audience segmentation and optimise conversion funnels. • Operationalise models globally, ensuring seamless adoption and maintaining performance benchmarks. • Design, execute, and analyse experiments such as A/B testing and uplift modelling to measure and optimise marketing effectiveness. • Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform marketing strategies and go-to-market decisions. • Deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and presentations tailored to stakeholders across different business functions. • Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve marketing data infrastructure, ensuring quality, accessibility, and scalability. Essential Skills & Experience • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline. • Experience in data science or advanced analytics, ideally within marketing or commercial settings. • Strong understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning techniques, and experimental design. • Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data visualisation tools. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders. • Strategic thinker with a passion for solving business challenges using data-driven insights.
