We are seeking Residential Support Workers to join our team and provide care and encouragement to young people living in a solo residential setting.
This role is about helping children who may have experienced trauma, neglect, or disadvantage to feel safe, supported, and understood. You don’t need previous care experience — if you have the right values, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn, we will provide full training and ongoing support.
What you’ll be doing:
* Building nurturing and trusting relationships with young people from deprived or challenging backgrounds.
* Supporting their daily routines, education, and personal growth.
* Helping young people regulate emotions and develop resilience.
* Ensuring safeguarding, advocacy, and promoting young people’s rights.
* Working as part of a reflective, supportive, and therapeutic team.
What we’re looking for:
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
* The ability to stay calm, caring, and consistent, even in challenging situations.
* An eagerness to learn therapeutic approaches such as trauma-informed care and PACE.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
* Previous experience is welcome but not essential – what matters most is your commitment, potential, and resilience
* Full-Time/ Part-Time/Zero- Hour (shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins)
