We're looking to strengthen our team with a highly skilled Commercial Videographer/Editor & Stills Retoucher who is confident producing professional, engaging content across multiple platforms and formats. Role Overview
This is a hands-on, full-time role ideal for an experienced creative professional who is confident working across video production, editing, and high-end image retouching. You'll be responsible for creating product-first content that supports our clients, both our internal marketing needs and our ever-visible promotion particularly through engaging behind-the-scenes and social media content.
The ideal candidate will be equally confident behind the camera, in the edit suite, and at the retouching desk - creating compelling video content and polished still imagery that brings our clients’ products and campaigns to life.
Key Responsibilities
Videography & Editing
* Plan, light, shoot, and edit a variety of commercial video content including product features, fashion, food, room sets, and lifestyle pieces.
* Produce short-form social media videos and behind-the-scenes content that helps promote Prodoto’s activities.
* Edit and apply colour grading, sound design, and graphics where appropriate with precision using Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
* Work collaboratively with in-house photographers, stylists, and the wider creative team to develop engaging visual stories.
* Manage video workflows from concept to final delivery, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
* Keep up to date with visual and content trends in fashion, food, and product marketing.
Stills Retouching
* Retouch and process still imagery for a wide range of commercial sectors, ensuring that images meet exacting standards for colour accuracy, tonal consistency, and detail.
* Execute retouching techniques including compositing, skin-work, background cleanup, colour matching, and product enhancement.
* Work closely with photographers and production to ensure efficient asset delivery and archiving.
* Maintain an efficient post-production workflow, ensuring timely delivery and consistency across projects.
Studio & Social Content
* Capture and edit short-form, informal behind-the-scenes content for marketing and social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
* Contribute creative ideas to brand pieces that promote studio capabilities to help drive engagement with the Prodoto brand.
* Support the marketing team with visual assets that represent the brand authentically and professionally.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' professional experience in a commercial photography or video production studio.
* Proficient in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite-especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
* Highly experienced in studio lighting setups and camera operation for both stills and video.
* Skilled in high-end retouching and colour correction for a range of commercial subjects.
* Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume production environment.
* Creative mindset with a proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Familiarity with on-set audio recording for video.
Nice to Have
* Motion graphics or animation experience.
* Stills photography experience.
* Experience of using Blackmagic cameras and Aputure lighting.
