We are looking for a Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our Infrastructure team located in London.
What you'll do:
* Understand the Company Health & Safety and wellbeing Policies and Procedures and statutory requirements as they affect the Project operations and ensure that the requirements are implemented.
* Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, ill health, and the practical implementation of the company’s SHW policies.
* Assist the Project Manager or Project SHW Manager in preparing and developing the Project Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan & coordinate reviews as required.
* Undertake site SHW inspections as required. Participate as requested in “Company” SHW Audit and inspections.
* Maintain the health and safety competency matrix of the scheme.
* Advise on the assessment and appointment of sub-contractors.
* Assist where necessary with tenders and presentations to external bodies.
* When requested, advise on the preparation of SHW risk assessments and Method Statements.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Proven SHW related experience
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent NVQ
* Relevant SHW experiences within construction is desirable but not exclusive to construction, a similar high risk industry would be considered
* Grad IOSH or AIEMA or equivalent
* Driving Licence
