About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setter/Programmer to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality, complex components that meet strict industry standards. You will work closely with engineers and colleagues on the shop floor to achieve efficient and precise machining operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC Milling Machines using Fanuc/Haas controls.
* Produce complex components from a range of materials to customer specifications.
* Ensure performance of part production to planned set/run times and quality standards.
* Adhere to ISO9001/14001:2015 Quality and Environmental standards.
* Carry out tool setup, offsets, and program adjustments where required.
* Record and support continuous improvement in 5S organisation across work areas.
* Ensure correct use of materials and drawings in production.
* Conduct accurate inspection using micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, and other equipment.
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in setting and operating CNC Milling Machines.
* Skilled in working with high-complexity components across multiple materials.
* Knowledge of 4 and 5 Axis Machines.
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Proficient in using precision inspection tools.
* Able to consistently produce components to tolerance and specification.
* Strong literacy and record-keeping skills.
