Responsibilities
- Perform commercial cleaning duties in various settings throughout the home, including residents rooms, communal areas, offices, and other facilities
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and toilets
- Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners
- Restocking supplies as needed
- Adhering to safety guidelines and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning, particularly in a care home setting, is highly desired
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact with coworkers and supervisors
