DUTIES Your duties as the Warehouse Operations Manager include: Leading Warehouse Operations: Managing day-to-day warehouse activities across multiple sites to ensure operational efficiency and service delivery Managing Fulfilment Operations: Overseeing short lead-time fulfilment across retail, wholesale, pub, and e-commerce channels Driving Team Performance: Providing leadership, coaching, and support to supervisors, team leaders, and warehouse operatives Monitoring Operational KPIs: Tracking productivity, service levels, stock accuracy, and customer performance metrics Supporting Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Implementing Systems Improvements: Supporting the introduction and embedding of warehouse management systems and digital workflows Maintaining Stock Accuracy: Ensuring effective stock control, traceability, and product integrity standards are maintained Managing Customer Relationships: Acting as a key operational contact and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships Supporting Compliance Standards: Ensuring health & safety, food hygiene, and operational compliance procedures are consistently followed Providing Hands-On Leadership: Maintaining a visible presence within warehouse operations and supporting teams during busy periods CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL Significant previous experience in a warehouse management role within a fast-paced operational environment, ideally with exposure to multi-site operations Proven experience of leading teams and driving operational performance improvements, and operating with a high degree of autonomy Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Experience with stock control, inventory management, and warehouse operations Good communication and stakeholder management skills Confidence using operational systems, reporting tools, and performance data A proactive and hands-on leadership approach Ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure DESIRABLE Previous experience managing complex warehouse or logistics operations with responsibility for people, process, and performance Experience in food, FMCG, logistics, or temperature-controlled warehouse environments Experience working within a 3PL or supply chain operation Experience supporting or implementing warehouse management systems Understanding of multi-channel fulfilment including e-commerce operations Continuous improvement and operational transformation experience HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
