The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiencies are consistently achieved. The RoleAs Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of multiple production lines, ensuring manufacturing processes operate efficiently while maintaining high quality standards and meeting customer expectations.This role will involve managing production schedules, leading teams, improving operational performance, and supporting the wider factory management team. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule production activities to ensure customer deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved. Work closely with Factory Management to ensure materials and components are always available for production requirements. Monitor daily production operations and troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimise downtime and disruption. Focus on reducing waste and improving operational efficiency across all production areas. Measure and monitor production KPIs, ensuring targets are achieved on time and to the required standard. Lead, motivate, train, and support production teams to maintain high levels of performance and engagement. Ensure Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices are consistently followed throughout the factory. Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes and workflows. Communicate effectively with internal departments and wider business operations to ensure smooth coordination. Deputise for the Factory Manager during periods of absence when required. Skills & Experience RequiredEssentialPrevious experience within a Production Manager or Manufacturing Supervisor role. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organisational and production planning abilities. Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently across all levels of the business. Good understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and KPI management. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively. DesirableMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar production management role. Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial production environments. Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
