Computershare are recruiting for an enthusiastic Lead .Net Developer to join our team in Edinburgh. You may be a Senior Developer seeking a new challenge, or currently operating as a Lead Developer/Development Team Leader looking for growth. This role involves leading a team with accountability for the capability of the overall process within our Squads, and managing 7-10 direct reports.

What you will do
* Provide problem management and incident resolution capability for our middleware APIs.
* Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers.
* Provide expertise to the team on the methods and tools needed to deliver change.
* People management: support those in your care, drive success and continuous improvement, foster their career development, and help them achieve their goals.
* Embed within the Global Dev Engineering department, operating where Support and Engineering meet; contribute to source code, improve documentation, and help build efficient support processes within the API Dev Support Team.
* Collaborate with engineering squads to fix issues and improve user and customer experiences.
What you will bring
* Experience as a .Net developer with a background in an Application Support role; SME with a focus on continuous delivery, software craftsmanship and clean code.
* Leadership capability with a passion for mentoring and coaching to harness talent and drive success.
* Collaborative, innovative, and solution-driven mindset.
* Experience embedding development best practices and adopting a continuous improvement approach.
* Knowledge of engineering practices for design, build, test and deployment.
* Experience in development and support within an enterprise context is advantageous.
* Ability to build communities across geographical areas is beneficial but not essential.
* Willingness to learn, develop, and challenge within a collaborative environment.
