Salary: £36,408, plus a recruitment bonus of £2,000, dependent on skills assessed during the interview. Additionally, there is an opportunity to obtain a skills bonus of £4,513, based on a skills review during your first year in the role.
Job description
Flexible Working: This role is primarily office-based, with most work undertaken in the office and some outside. We offer flexible hours, including compressed and part-time shifts. Remote work isn't guaranteed but may be possible occasionally. Once trained, you may be required to join an on-call rota.

The Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be part of a friendly, skilled team focused on finding solutions to optimise systems supporting our mission. You will be assigned a specialism based on your suitability, which may be determined at recruitment or during your role. Specialisms include:

In this role, you will develop solutions for infrastructure challenges, support operational tasks, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across teams and with customers to develop customer-driven infrastructure, contributing to our mission's success.
About You
If you're passionate about IT, thrive in dynamic environments, and love learning, this role is for you! The only qualification required is GCSE grade 4/C or above, or an equivalent Level 2 in Maths. Experience in STEM or a passion for IT is beneficial. You should be organized, adaptable, analytical, and able to communicate solutions clearly. Enthusiasm for learning and collaboration is essential.
Training and Development
You will be supported by a buddy and mentor, engaging in formal and on-the-job training. You'll rotate through three areas over 18 months to gain comprehensive experience, after which you'll be placed in the team best suited to your skills. Training programs are location-specific (Samlesbury and Manchester).
Skills Development Opportunities
Develop skills in risk management, security, domain services, OS administration, web technologies, scripting, virtualization, networking, automation, monitoring, and storage. Support for external training and funded qualifications will be provided as your skills develop.
