Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Norfolk. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the needs we support. We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND, as well as other needs such as SEMH. We work with children and young people with MLD and SLD and provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner.
At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists and the team around the child.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Work with learners referred by local authorities and schools, supporting educational and social-emotional development
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver holistic, engaging sessions tailored to the learner’s needs
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance with obtaining at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* UK residency and right to work (including remote/online work)
It is a strict requirement to promote health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment status
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker on short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service and PAYE payment
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Insurance covers the work you do for us
* Not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
