Job Title: Engineering Supervisor (Rail)\n 📍 Location: Various UK Locations\n 💷 Rate: Up to £28 per hour\n 🕒 Type: Weekend Work or Full-Time Available\n 📅 Start Date: ASAP\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are currently seeking experienced Engineering Supervisors (ES) to join our growing rail team. This is an excellent opportunity for rail professionals looking for either consistent weekend shifts or full-time employment with competitive pay, working on a variety of rail infrastructure projects across the UK.\n\nAs an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a key role in the safe delivery of works within a Possession and will be responsible for coordinating site activities, liaising with key personnel, and ensuring works are carried out to industry and company standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupervise and coordinate engineering activities on rail projects during possessions and isolations\n\nAct as the main point of contact between on-site teams and the Possession/Worksite Manager\n\nEnsure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with Network Rail and company procedures\n\nCarry out pre-work briefings and ensure all staff are clear on safety protocols\n\nReport incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices promptly\n\nAccurately complete and submit required documentation and reports\n\nRequirements:\n\nValid Engineering Supervisor (ES) competency (Sentinel Card)\n\nPTS (Personal Track Safety)\n\nCOSS and/or SWL desirable\n\nFull UK driving licence preferred\n\nMinimum 1 year experience in a similar ES role\n\nGood communication and leadership skills\n\nWilling to work weekends and/or full-time shifts, including nights if required\n\nBenefits:\n\nCompetitive hourly rate - up to £28/hr depending on experience and shift type\n\nWeekend-only or full-time shifts to suit your availability\n\nOpportunities for long-term ongoing work\n\nSupportive and safety-focused working environment\n\nOpportunities to work on high-profile infrastructure projects\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nTo apply, please send your CV and Sentinel\n\nLet me know if you'd like a version tailored for a specific company, location, or formatted for a particular platform like Indeed or LinkedIn.\n\nWe have a fair and comprehensive selection procedure.
