Our client is a market leader in distribution and home delivery, renowned for their high standards in collection, sortation, and delivery.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Manager, based anywhere in the SOUTH EAST areas of Kent, East Sussex, SE London, and Essex.
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 plus high OTE and car allowance.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new business customers within the PRIVATE and PUBLIC SECTORS, selling UK DOMESTIC and INTERNATIONAL ECOMMERCE PARCEL solutions, mainly small PACKET and PARCEL services, along with associated value-added services.
You will work towards divisional KPIs, including a new business revenue target of approximately £900k to £1 million, to be finalized upon appointment based on salary. As this role is primarily NEW BUSINESS focused, they seek highly motivated and focused individuals with the drive to succeed.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of high-level new business sales within E-COMMERCE PARCEL/PACKET sales. Applicants from a service-related background will not be considered. You should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, and possess strong character with a determination to drive the business forward.
This role is home-based, with visits to the office once or twice a month.
Candidates should have experience in NEW BUSINESS sales, ideally within a reseller or multi-carrier environment in a PACKET, PARCEL, and MAIL business. You must be passionate about exceeding targets and eager to prove your capabilities.
