PTS Planner / Data Administrator
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PTS Planner / Data Administrator to join our team. This key role is responsible for the effective coordination of Patient Transport Services (PTS) resources, ensuring the smooth and efficient advance planning of patient journeys.
1. Liaise with senior managers, hospitals/clinics, patients, and partner agencies to deliver a high-quality, patient-focused service.
2. Communicate professionally and effectively with managers, healthcare providers, Integrated Care Boards, internal departments, external providers, and patients/their carers on a daily basis.
3. Accurately check transport bookings, ensuring mobility details and clinic localities are correct and aligned with inclusion lists.
4. Assess whether journeys fall within contractual guidelines, escalating or classifying bookings as Extra Contractual Resource (ECR) when required.
5. Carry out a range of administrative duties including data cleansing, validating records, and processing ECR invoices for authorisation.

Main duties of the job
·Responsible for the planning of PTS ambulance resources in advance to optimise delivery and maintain an effective service and excellent standard of patient experience.
·Proactively plan journeys to support both the service and patient experience.
·Monitoring and investigation of complex patient journeys.
·Check inclusion lists against patient journeys/clinics.
·Ensure no un-allocated Extra Contractual Resource (ECR) journeys are overlooked, liaising with internal and external departments, communicating and updating the final status of journey
·Checking and authorisation of ECR journey invoices.
·putting data onto the Cleric administration software program accurately.
·Maintain data cleansing on Cleric System
·Check correct mobility against journeys booked.
·Escalate anticipated problems in a timely manner for resolution
·Ability to remain composed, focused, and efficient in high-pressure situations, ensuring patient transport services run smoothly despite unexpected challenges.
·Assist local management with general, day to day administrative tasks as required
·Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
