Nursery Teaching Assistant Blackburn (BB1) Full-time (Mon- Fri, 8.30am-3.30pm) £12.90-£13.40 per hour Start date: September 2024 A mainstream primary school in Blackburn (BB1) have approached Teaching Personnel to recruit for an experienced Nursery Class Teaching Assistant. The school are looking for an individual who can work across both Nursery and EYFS classes. The role is to start in September and is currently until January 2025, with the potential to become full time for the correct candidate. The position will be to support small groups of children throughout the school day as well as carrying out relevant observations on children within the classes. You will also be working alongside the class teacher to help to plan interaction and highly motivating lesson. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within EYFS, as well as a sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. Though out your role you will be supporting children to ensure that they are working towards expectations. Experience of phonics and working with pupils with SEN is also preferred. This role can be challenging, however, highly rewarding. You will need to hold the following; Experience in EYFS or School environment Available for full time work Enthusiastic and passionate about the Early Years Sector Level 3 qualified or above Good behaviour management skills Experience of delivering Phonics All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
