Reporting directly to the Intakes Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing small teams of staff within a dynamic department. Applicants should be comfortable with all aspects of work undertaken by the Intakes Department and be prepared to gain an in-depth knowledge of Intakes issues. The successful applicant should also be competent in dealing with staff, other Team Leaders and Departmental Managers. The need for prioritising and delegating work is essential. Duties will include liaising with production management to ensure orders are fulfilled against deadlines, stock control and the checking and dispatching of customer orders. Shift available: Mon - 18:00 - 06:00 Tues - 22:00 - 06:00 Wed - 22:00 - 06:00 Thurs - 22:00 - 06:00 Fri - 18:00 - 06:00 The successful candidate will be required to complete training on the day shift before moving to above night shift schedule. Duties will include but are not limited to: Intake of daily deliveries, using on-site FLT and PPT Stock control and stock rotation of all stocks on site Effective utilisation and management of staff to attain objectives Achievement of quality thresholds Ensure that Health & Safety, Hygiene and regulatory requirements are maintained Open, clear and effective communication with staff at all levels The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: o The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload o The ability to work under pressure and to delegate effectively o Be prepared to gain an in-depth knowledge of production issues o Be confident and competent in dealing with staff, other Team Leaders and Departmental Managers o Numerical ability o Literacy o Sound knowledge and experience of operating computer software o Established time management and administration skills No company sponsorship is available to overseas applicants for this position.
